These crayons are the BEST!!! I’m always very hesitant to buy any non-crayola crayons because nothing is worse than those crappy ones that do not show the color well at all on paper. These crayons were beyond awesome! I bought these for my niece, but I want a pack for myself too ha! The colors once on paper are very beautiful & vivid. I am not a person who likes yellow, but for some reason the yellow color just fascinated me. It was such a bright neon color that it looked exactly like a quality liquid yellow highlighter had been used instead of a crayon. The twisty thing is obviously very handy. Keeps the hands way cleaner than normal crayons & the best part is that they are basically always sharp. No sharpeners needed. I very much recommend these. The case is pretty cool too.

I bought these as an alternative to Faber Castell Gelatos…I do have 1 set of gelatos and I really like them but they can get so expensive if you want all the colors. These work pretty much the same…smudge together to blend, use water for watercolor effect, or just color with them. They are very creamy so you can blend them together with your finger or use blending tools. I highly recommend them but not for toddlers or preschoolers 😂 The pictures I posted I used only my finger to blend the colors. The reds/oranges yellows/greens are on small canvas, and the blues/greens are on black cardstock.

I’m just getting started with mixed media. As part of a series I’m just beginning, this type of crayon was suggested as part of the needed materials. The particular ones recommended were pricier than I wanted to spend to “try.” So, I found these and decided to give them a chance. I figured if they didn’t work as I hoped, I wouldn’t be out a ton of money.I LOVE using these gel crayons and look forward to many, many projects using them going forward! So, if you are interested in trying gel crayons for the first time, and like me, aren’t ready to shell out your hard-earned cash, try this product! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

I purchased these in August of 2023 as a cheaper alternative to Marabu gel crayons for mixed media projects. I only used them ~3 times. Pulled them out today and the crayons are moldy! A product that costs over $20 and was properly stored should last longer than 6 months!

I bought this to entertain a 5yo and two 2yos, however, the 2yos are aggressive crayon users so this became a mess right away. The tips broke with all the pressure they used. Toddlers are strong. But, they are washable and the kids clothing became clean as if nothing happened after the first wash. In the end I took this for myself and added it to my coloring stash. I love that they are in plastic tubes; the color is vibrant; they glide smoothly on paper; blend extremely well; excellent color options; and washable. You really don’t need to add pressure when coloring because of how soft and oily the crayon. I’d say use your best judgment for your own kids if you plan to give this to toddlers.

I dislike the smell of crayons because of the paraffin wax. These have no odor! They go one thick, quick, and smooth. And they are paintable with just a little water. I’ve thrown out the crayons from my classroom along with the smell! because of these.

These gel crayons are satisfying for kids because they color fully and give a smooth full finish to coloring. I can’t wait to try using them as water colors. I think they will be a game changer for my 5 yo grandson.
