It is all on line
I started reading . To much sales pitch and not enough detail.Go online. A lot of this seems to the creation of new words for existing concepts and designs.

Good overview of AWS
Good read. Covers the AWS services well. Barnard’s writing style is very good for a tech book. I almost didn’t buy the book because of the ‘dummies’ name.

Great book
To get you going this is the one. Deep enough to learn to swim, not so deep you’ll drown. This is a great book and will get you going.

Excellent overview of AWS
I found this book as a great starting point for understanding AWS at a technical level. From there a person can focus on the specific services they wish to pursue.

Decent read
It’s a decent read to catch up but feel most information I already online. It’s still a fast way to catch up on the lingo

Very good work
The author introduce this wide subject with a very efficient way. Even with an important domain background, this book is a pleasure to read

Yes — I hated it! Bad info and a waste of time!
You can read the whole book and then when you get to the point to actually try to use it, the author says to go load a non-existent AWS template. There’s no provision for support offered in the book so I found the author’s website and I E-mailed him trying to find out if there was one I could use instead. But of course, there was no response. So this book was pretty much useless to me.

Outdated at this point. It give you a good grounding, but you are just as well off reading Amazon’s free whitepapers.
