I was using a regular bag when I walked my dog and randomly thought if this existed and sure enough, I went on here and it popped up. It’s very convenient, easy to clean and replace and it’s something you’ll treasure for how practical it is.

It’s a little big for carrying around on walks but its effective. My dog is associating the click with a treat and it’s nice to not have to touch the treats! I use kibble and usually only give a couple at a time. The clicker releases sometimes too many but hopefully I will get the hang of it 🙂 We are enjoying this so far and would recommend.

This treat dispenser is a great way to reward your pet one treat at a time. I work with my own dogs as well as foster puppies, to have this dispenser is a great way to carry treats without having to have a pocket full of dog treats or carry the whole bag. The clicker opens to release one treat at a time as needed. It works well with small treats or broken up bigger ones. Every dog should be rewarded for compliant behavior and this tool is a great way to do it.

We’ve been working on teaching our pup some new tricks so this has really come in handy.I hate having to stick my hand in the bag to grab the treat as well as fumbling around with a clicker and sometimes a leash at the same time. It’s super convenient that you can dispense the treat, and do the clicker at the same time all while keeping your hands slobber free. LOLI also like that it’s super compact and portable for training on location, or just keeping handy and giving out treats in general. You do have to make sure the treat dispenser is angled all the way down, so the treats can get picked up by the mechanism easily.Larger training treats can get stuck a bit, but the tiny ones come out several at once. A medium size training treat is best. Once you find the right size treats it works really well.

For reference, we use Pupford treats and when you click the button to afford positive behavior it really is just one treat that is dispensed. If you’re using smaller treats, then I would assume a few might be dispensed at the same time. This is really helpful to have at my desk because I can more easily reward positive behavior than I can when there is a separate clicker and a treat bag. I’ve even used tiny OXO Pop containers and this is much easier than that because I don’t have to touch the treats.I haven’t used this on a walk yet, but plan to soon. This device is so simple and so effective. I’ve recommended it to our trainer to share with her clients.

This review is for the Colorday Handheld Dog Training Feeder Treat Dispenser 6.7 oz. I’m using this as a fast and easy way to give my pup treats when she comes in from going potty outside. I love it and it works great. Previously I had to screw a lid on and off a container, pull out a treat using my fingers and place it on the floor or hold it in my hand. I pretty much use entirely salmon treats and so of course my hands would stink. It is a little finicky and you do have to tilt and guide the treat to the spoon area. My dog will take her treat right out of the spoon or if she’s not so interested I can turn it over and leave the treat on the floor. Sometimes multiple treats will come out but I can hold the button down and allow them to go back into the container. I ran this entire dispenser through the dishwasher after receiving it and it came out great. I purchased the smaller of the two dispensers because I did not plan on putting too many treats in the cup as this is not airtight and therefore treats can become stale. I plan on using it to feed my dog small portions of her food in the car on trips as well.

This feeder is so useful and helpful when it comes to training your dog! We take this with us everyday when walking our dog. It keeps our hands clean! The clicker is a nice bonus too. Every time our dog hears it she knows it’s time for a treat. Very unique product.

It is light weight, easy to use. Just need to push the button to release the treat, much easier than the treat pouch and clicker. I take it with me when walking the dog. Medium size works very well.

I own two corgis and have spent years searching for suitable hand feeding tools. This purchase has proven to be the best solution for both my corgis and myself.Feeding: My 3-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi tends to guard resources and eat too quickly. A dog trainer suggested hand feeding as a remedy, but it was inconvenient. This feeder has addressed all my concerns—no saliva or teeth contact, and no need to touch the food. It’s incredibly user-friendly. I’ve replaced his traditional bowl with this feeder and hand feed him twice daily. After three weeks of consistent use, his negative behaviors have significantly improved.Training: I have a 3-month-old cardigan Welsh corgi puppy. This feeder is designed with dog training in mind. By pushing the button to dispense food and hearing the click after pushing it down, the 3-in-1 design streamlines dog training, eliminating the need for extra equipment. It’s a one-hand solution that greatly enhances convenience and efficiency.Walking the dog: It’s as simple as grabbing the feeder with any remaining food inside. A quick shake produces noise, prompting my corgis to follow me wherever I go. The portability of this feeder makes it incredibly convenient.Cleaning: Cleaning is a breeze—just rinse with water or toss it in the dishwasher for easy maintenance.I highly recommend this feeder to all dog owners. It’s truly a game-changing invention!

I’ve been looking for something like this for years. This is the best invention. I can finally treat my dogs without getting my hands dirty! I bought five of them to keep all over the house. We use puppy food kibble as treats. Sometimes it dispenses one treat or more than one treat, variability like this is better for associative learning.
