It is very well organised and an essential for anyone wanting to learn Turkish grammar. The clear explanations and overview tables are very helpful for studying.

I’m a beginner and found the book well structured and easy to understand. The grammatical differences that exist between English and Turkish have been demonstrated in a simplistic way. Examples are well explained and the book builds from from the basics to the more complex areas whilst keeping things very simple. A great book and reference guide!

Sotirakis –
The author manages to show sentence structure without the need for in depth analysis. Although it would be useful to have translation exercises to reinforce the learning process.

This book won’t teach you Turkish, there are plenty of others for that. What this book does provide is a fantastic, quick reference for the grammar. With the other books, this could take lots searching for a comprehensive grammatical answer.Keep this book handy! You won’t regret it.

This is a great short book for beginners to get a quick and easy overview of Turkish grammar. All the basic rules are presented in a very clear and concise manner. It is also a handy reference and review tool.

As you can see from the photos there is some shadow bleeding through the thin pages, but I don’t believe that affects the legibility as much as does the tiny print or lack of print quality. That said, the inexpensive cost is attractive and this book, while not comprehensive, serves what I purchased it for. I needed something short, simple to-the-point that helped me understand the basic rules of verb conjugation and grammar. There is Latin translation of everything included and tables (illustrated in photo) to assist. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I’m a beginner Türkçe learner and this helps, but my best guess from other languages I’ve learned I’ll upgrade eventually. For now, this suits my needs. I’d recommend to the beginner who wants the absolute basic nuts and bolts presented succinctly, without a lot of wordiness.
