DIY Robotic Car Kits
How did we get our start?
- Chris, the founder of ELEGOO, found out that most enterprises in the STEM industry focused on the hardware of open-source electronics and did not have tools to create a complete product by combining electronic hardware and structural shells.
What makes our products unique?
- We have excellent R&D team, constantly upgrading and improving products, and after-sales service team for quick support.
What problem are we solving?
- 100% compatible with Arduino, ELEGOO’s kits are best-practice for beginners who have no appropriate technical tools to learn about electronics.

Amazing kit
I originally bought this because I wanted to learn more about circuits for my engineering major. We also used ELEGOO Arduino kits in our class but they were a different version (Uno). After buying this kit and experimenting with it, I have found little to no complaints about this product. Everything appears to be high quality, and the instructions were a great help in starting out. They also included the example code as a file so it can easily be opened and uploaded to your Arduino.Overall, I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants to safely learn more about circuits and learn how to prototype and make your ideas a reality.

My 12 years old son love it.It was his STEM teacher who had recommand it.
That is not for me to answer as this kit was for my 12 years old son. All I can say is that he loved it, he spends a few hours on it right away. The bar coding has so far been too challenging for him, he is waiting year 8 at school, as they will study this processus in STEM class.

Top Notch Support
Plenty has been said here about the quality and value for the money. I just wanted to add that Elegoo stands behind their products. My kids were excited and pulled the tab on the remote that connects the battery when new and it broke the remote. Granted, this is a mixture of user error and strength of the product but I thought maybe it was a little too fragile, I observed the problem happening. I asked them about it and they agreed that should not happen and immediately sent a new remote. Good company, good communication and service. That convinced me they will stand behind their components so this is a seller you can trust.

The Good and the Bad (w/follow up)
(I have elevated my rating to four stars as a result of Elegoo’s support & follow up).As a child user of Radio Shack’s ‘Science Fair’ kits I was excited to receive this and get to work learning digital electronics. After much research I found this Elegoo kit, and after determining that this kit seemed to have the best ‘Bang for the Buck’, I bought it. The board, itself, seems to be of good quality and is respected among Arduino clones. Now, a few things that aren’t so great: You may find some of the components don’t work. If you are new to digital electronics and/or bread boarding you might think you have wired something incorrectly and spend hours of frustration trying to fix your mistake. That is, until you realize it wasn’t your mistake at all, but faulty components. In my instance it has been the 5v Relay and the PIR Motion Sensor (so far).Second thing: The bread board is labeled WRONG for the 5v/3.3v Bread Board Power Supply Module. (Note the attached picture). You don’t see the labels at the ends of the boards, bu you can clearly see the ‘+’ from the power supply is routed to the ‘-‘ rail on the board, and visa-versa. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT & SERIOUS OVERSIGHT as some of these components and modules are very sensitive to reverse polarity and can be damaged (including the Arduino board itself, if you are using the power supply with an Arduino operated circuit). If you have been following the included list of “lessons” and then start using the opposite-polarity power supply and wire things out of habit…well… This is a really STUPID and potentially damaging mistake on Elegoo’s part. It could cost people their Arduino board.Lastly, the “Lessons” are less lessons and more ‘go-by’ examples of bare-bone operation of the components. There is very little ‘teaching’ being done; if you are clever you might learn some by osmosis and may even find ways to integrate them into circuits other than the ones that are shown in the ‘Tutorial’ PDF, but you are really going to need an after-market companion book on Arduino basics to get anywhere and to properly learn how the board works and how to utilize the components into usable and teachable projects.Despite the seemingly low price, you may, in fact, be better off buying an Arduino board, a good after-market book and using whatever resource you prefer to purchase components (including appropriately matched power supply and bread board) and building a kit as you go, which might be difficult to do if you are excited to jump right in. Just be prepared for bad components, marginal “tutorials” and spending more money on components that work and that you will actually use and need for specific projects down the road.FOLLOW UP: Elegoo’s customer support response was very quick & positive. Replacement items are on the way.Re: Bread board, I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, but will keep this here so others can learn from my mistake, but the bread board power connections are NOT symmetrical, as I had hastily assumed. There IS a left and right side to the board, and if you rotate the bread board then the bread board power supply and power & ground rails are lined up appropriately.

EDITED! This is the BEST!
Hands down, this is the best experience that Ive had on Amazon so far. The hardware that comes inside of this box is Top-Notch, and the project lessons that they send you are easily done. I am a complete noob (almost) to the Arduino Maker scene, but the lessons on the CD that Elegoo sends along with this kit are amazingly simple, yet theyre capable of teaching even someone who has NO prior experience to things like this. I seen a few comments where people were having trouble using the CD, or the tutorial that comes on the CD… but I have NO clue what is going on with that. MINE worked. Completely. I almost want to say that those are user errors, because EVERYTHING that ive bought from Elegoo has been Top-Notch, and of immensely great quality. By the way, if you DO end up having any kind of issue, their customer service is VERY quick to respond, as they responded within like…3 hours of me sending them an email, and they were ready to send me something for my troubles, after helping me through my issue. Although I did politely decline this gift, them offering it has earned them a life time customer. Did i mention that the boxes they send stuff in are amazing?? Even the wires and resistors that they sell, come in a very high quality box! All in all, this was hands down the best purchase that ive made in my life. If youre wanting to get something to entertain you and someone special for weeks to come, and actually learn something along the way… this product and this company are HIGHLY recommended. Actually, I wouldnt recommend ANY one else. Elegoo all the way! dpsEDIT: So, after a long and tough battle with thieving neighbors (this has NOTHING to do with Elegoo, its not their fault), Elegoo decided to be a champion and send me the item that was missing…. FREE OF CHARGE! Even though it wasn’t their fault in the first place, Elegoo, out the the kindness of their heart’s are replacing the item that is missing. I do not usually write reviews about companies, because they don’t usually inspire me to do so, but Elegoo as a whole has done something that I will never forget, and has earned themselves a lifetime customer! The biggest thing is, that the products themselves are EXTREMELY high quality. Honestly, it’s almost an addiction. I love the DuPont wires that they sell (which I have MANY of now), and the packaging that everything comes in is just utterly amazing! All in all, if you’re looking for a company that you can trust, that has a VERY quick and responsive customer support team, backs ALL of their products, packages that have meaning and usefulness to them… then look no further. This is that company, and they sell even more unique and high quality products on their website! I believe even 3d printers!TO ELEGOO: Thank you, and I look forward to working with you guy’s (and girls and everything in between) again!

The hardware seems very complete. The instructions aren’t the best but its still a good value.
I’m writing this in Jan 2023. I got this as a way to automate some things on my model trains. The core kit has a lot of good hardware. The documentation is not the best. First, the directions say to get the programmer’s software directly from Arduino. What they don’t say is that there are two versions to choose from. The Arduino site suggests the use of the most recent, but that doesn’t work. I needed to get the prior version so you have access to the serial connection configurations that are in the directions. The base directions for all the interfaces and tools are ok but there is no real explanation of the programming language. The Arduino site isn’t any better for programming syntax & structures. For that, you’re going to have to hunt around on YouTube and resign yourself to some trial and error.Given the alternatives for home and hobby automation, this kit is a great value. You’re just going to have to accept a little more than normal trial and error as part of your learning curve.

I love it
Always wanted a bread board to test different electronic setups. It also hits on a little on the programming lines for customizing your electronic setups. Instructions have to be found on website or watching the tutorial on you tube.

Biggest, most complete kit on the market, and well worth the money
This is an outstanding kit! When I decided to dive head-first into the Arduino world, I did my research. I was looking for a kit that would get me the most varied list of supplies possible (and from a company with a good reputation, as it’s so easy to end up with a pile of barely functioning electronic knock-off junk that was made on Mars or some far-away place with no quality-assurance). This was the kit I settled on, and I’m glad I did. For the money spent, it had the greatest spread of different kinds of devices and supporting equipment. I paired it with the Elegoo 37 Sensor Kit, to round out my supplies. (There was a bit of cross over between the two kits, but it’s nice to have extras to play and experiment with.)In addition to having so many devices to experiment with, I found two further pluses for this kit:Elegoo’s Arduino boards are incredible! They are exactingly labeled, flawlessly put together, and use quality equipment. Even the unused areas of the board have “dimple printing” to help reduce cross contamination of the signals. I’ve researched several brand names of Arduino boards, and aside from the actual original Arduino brand, no one came close to Elegoo’s level of quality. After seeing this, all of my Arduino boards will be Elegoo from now on. The only issue I’ve encountered with it, is because the boards are so nice, I almost don’t want to use them; I want to keep them in their box looking nice. I end up grabbing some other lower-quality board to fiddle around with, because I don’t care if I wear out/burn those boards out. But I suppose that’s just the collector in me. When shopping around for individual boards, I found that Elegoo was one of the more expensive manufacturers, but only by a couple of bucks. However, the quality level was orders of magnitude higher; which I think makes those couple extra bucks more than worth it.The second plus: The container that the kit comes in is actually very nice. It is a genuinely quality case, not just a poorly constructed plastic snap case, like some of the other brands use. When I was showing the kit to my family at a get-together, my mother kept eyeing the case, wanted to nab it to hold her scrapbooking supplies. I have ordered a few different Elegoo kits and products, and they’ve all come in the same quality style case (in different sizes and configurations, of course). I know it doesn’t sound like it should matter all that much, and it is hard to describe, but once you hold this kit in your hand, you’ll understand what I mean.Because of how many little pieces there are to this kit, I recommend taking an inventory when it arrives. Of the hundreds of parts, I did notice one, very small, and non-vital part missing. I sent the company an email asking if they could drop one of those little parts in an envelope headed my way. Two days later, a whole new replacement kit arrived with a return label for the original kit, and a letter apologizing for the mistake and making sure I was happy with the result; which I very much am.All of the different Elegoo products and kits I’ve bought have been remarkably designed and crafted, are as user-friendly as this subject can be, and while I haven’t had to make a lot of use of their customer support line, I’ve heard it’s second-to-none. A company that really stands by its products and values its customers.Having seen how much work and quality Elegoo puts into its products and services, they have gained a dedicated customer in me.

Great all around kit for anyone into robotics/programming/electronics. CD files are available on elegoo website.
First off if you are getting started with this stuff, this kit is a great starter. If you want more astounding results and satisfaction, the robot car kit may be the better option, but for tinkering and creating, this is great! It really is a kit for anyone interested in this type of thing, from your more advanced kids to your common prototyping engineers. Also note, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CD DRIVE, ALL FILES ARE AVAILABLE ON ELEGOO.COM! :)The item was received fast and quick. It even comes in a nice organized plastic box with quality hinged snaps. In case you do not know there is no difference between Elegoo and Arduino – both boards are the same thing and are open source, with different manufacturers. Elegoo essentially remakes exact modules of the open source Arduinos. So if you are trying to save money, go with an Elegoo for sure! There are slight differences between the Mega 2560 and the Uno (different popular modules that you may find) but the differences will not affect most people, especially beginners. Advanced users may care about the differences, so if you are curious here they are via the Arduino forums (the rest of this text is the info regarding the differences between the Mega and the Uno for more technical users).”The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328 (datasheet). It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip. Instead, it features the Atmega16U2 (Atmega8U2 up to version R2) programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. The Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560 (datasheet). It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The Mega is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila. The Mega 2560 is an update to the Arduino Mega, which it replaces. ”

Great customer service
This makes my third edit of this review. First let me say that Eleggo has been extremely responsive in resolving a QC problem with their breadboards. They responded via e-mail within hours of writing my first review. They not only replaced the breadboard, but sent me 2 additional ones as a gift. According to other reviews, breadboard problems are not unique to Elegoo, so whenever ordering breadboards test the holes with a small resistor. I am reverting back to my original 5 star review report because of the great customer support and overall value in the Mega 2560 Project kit.*************I’m having second thoughts on my review below. I’m having terrible connection problems with resistors. The resistors do not make good connections to the breadboard and the shift register I/C had a connection problem also. The large breadboard seems to be of poor quality, sockets are to loose. The small breadboard however is noticeably tighter and seems to be of better quality. Compounding the problem is that the 1/4 watt film resistors have non-standard lead diameter of 0.014 inches. Most breadboards that give specifications on Amazon say their sockets fit components from 0.016 to 0.028 inches, therein lies the problem. Yes there are errors in the documentation, but these become obvious and add to the learning process. I’m changing my rating to one (from 5) because the connection problems are giving me fits and to build anything semi-permanent would yield unreliable performance. I also find it unusual that resistor, transistor, and LED wire leads are made of steel (magnet picks them up).*******************Pros: Great value. The tutorial is excellent. Good way to learn basic electronics, automation sensors principals, the programming language C++, and the Arduino IDE and architecture.Cons: Resistor lead diameters are too small to make proper contact in the breadboard sockets…. ok for tutorial though, but with some tinkering…. but for any practical application i would order larger wattage resistors that will fit the breadboard sockets. Also the round tip jumper wires have burs at the end and need to be filed off to prevent damaging the breadboard socket plating….. use a very fine grit finger nail emery board. I suspect other brands have same cons, so I would buy Elegoo again, their circuit boards are very high quality.

Great learning tool.
I’m a software engineer looking to build some internet enabled devices and this is a great teaching tool! I am already on lesson 8. Electronics is my thing so this is pretty straight forward and I’m just getting my feet wet and ready and looking forward to the more advanced sections. I bought the two versions of the sensor kit. Prob overkill. One has the mercury switch and the other one doesn’t but having duplicates just means I can have various projects sitting around and have enough parts … If that makes any sense.

Very complete
I have been building electronic projects as a hobby for many years. I purchased this kit to evaluate its possible use in a technology course at a local library.I was very impressed with all the components included for such a low price in this kit. Besides the projects described in the manual, this kit has enough components to do many other projects such as those described on maker web sites. I built the majority of the projects in the manual, using just about every component. Component quality is decent. I didn’t run across any defective components, and was able to get all the projects I attempted to work. The manual does a fairly good job of describing how the components work in each project. It’s not as detailed of a description as those found on maker sites, but better than the majority similar project manuals I’ve seen.Projects start simple, but become quite advanced later on. I’m not positive that this would be the best kit for someone who has never touched an electronic component before. It might appear overwhelming to such a person, though they could probably make it work. For someone who knows a little bit about electronics already (say they’ve already built a project or two) and wishes to learn about microcontrollers it would be great. One thing to be aware of. I used the manual and project code from the CD that came with the kit. There are a couple of projects where the input and output connections shown in the wiring diagram are different from those in the program. Fixing this is trivial, but if you don’t notice you may wonder why a project does not work. I see the Elegoo website has an updated manual and project code available for downloading. Perhaps this problem is fixed in the updated version, but I did not verify this.

Fantastic selection of Arduino goodies all in one place
This kit has a fantastic assortment of gadgets you can wire up to an Arduino Mega 2560 microcomputer board. There are several types motors, LED displays, alphanumeric display and lots of different sensors included. The included Mega 2560 board is fully compatible with the Arduino integrated development environment (IDE). So far, all of the kit’s components I have used work properly and seem to be high quality. The included CD disc is very comprehensive, including data sheets for the devices and a lengthy PDF tutorial manual organized into 33 lessons. The writing of the tutorial is pretty clear and for the most part the user should be able to assemble the tutorial circuits without a lot of issues. I recommend always double-checking the data sheets as you build the circuits in case there is a typo in the tutorial. Double checking is always good practice, be it this kit or others. The latest version of the documentation is downloadable from the Elegoo web site. One thing you should not expect with this kit is to build a finished robot directly from the tutorial. This kit is more stand-alone starter ideas that you can expand into projects of your own design. Even on its own, there is a lot of merit in doing the tutorial lessons to learn the basics of how sensors and output devices operate. Very young learners might be frustrated by lack of a defined end game, but young teens and up will probably find the possibilities in this kit intriguing. I bought this kit for myself to stock my lab bench with a selection of Arduino goodies and I love being able open the lid and try out ideas on the spur of the moment.

Well worth it!
I’ll start off by saying the tutorial wasn’t the best. It does give a lot of information about the components included, and it does a good job of showing how to connect things, but as far as the programming, that leaves a lot to be desired. While it does explain a little about the program examples, it really doesn’t dive into the code and what it is really doing. Having been critical of the tutorial, I would still say this is an excellent kit to learn some electronics and programming. It includes a ton of parts and the Arduino Mega compatible, a really nice board, everything so far in the kit has been good quality. for the price you get everything you need to start learning how to make projects and program some really neat things. I got it mainly to learn Arduino so I can integrate it into my model railroad. So get this kit, do a little research online and you will learn how to make some really neat projects.

I was up and running in 8 minutes. Most comprehensive kit.
I rarely give feedback on products and even more rarely give them 5 stars. This is a comprehensive starter kit at a very competitive price. I also bought the separate 37 sensor kit. There are so many gadgets in both these kits it will take me months to get through all of them. Yes, there are some misspelled words and other minor issues, but I think the company really put their heart into assembling a great product. And they freely give their contact information out in many places and want you to contact them with issues. Some other complaints are around getting started and using the product with the instructions provided. I was able to install everything and control an LED light with sample code in 8 minutes, not kidding. But you have to realize this is not a kids toy, these are real engineering components here. Its up to you to learn, problem solve and create what you want from the components as opposed to being a step by step kit. That’s the whole fun of it. Those with a technical or engineering background will be at an enormous advantage. You must learn how to program using C code and research how the components work. For example, I was unable to get the stepper motor to work from this kit with the example stepper motor code that comes with Arduino IDE. But that’s because the example code is for a different stepper motor and there are many different kits out there with different types of stepper motors. I took me two hours to learn about stepper motors and was able to write my own code to control it. I’m lucky to have an engineering background with a little bit of C code experience so I could see someone taking much longer to figure out the stepper motor issue or giving up completely. If you really want to learn Arduino, you can. Be patient, buy books like Programming Arduino by Simon Monk, browse forums, watch YouTube tutorials, etc.So I’ll summarize by saying that this is a great product and ships as advertised. I suspect many frustrations are because this is a fairly advanced kit and not a toy. Thank you for reading my review and good luck.UPDATE: I spent more time going through the sample code provided by Elegoo and the stepper motor code they provided works perfect. My comments above were based on my grabbing the code that comes with Arduino IDE which was incompatible. Again, I think the kit is great. Probably most negative feedback coming from misunderstanding how to use everything.

Excellent value. Good instructions.
This kit has a lot of items. For the price, it is well worth it. The instructions are fairly easy to follow. The quality of the components seem to be really good. After doing a bit of research on different Arduino kits, this one seemed the most promising. And after getting it, we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

Pretty Good, But of Course Not Perfect
I purchased this kit to get familiar with the Arduino controller in preparation for making some home automation projects for our pool, fountain, and landscape controls. I am familiar with electronic components, and I am an experienced programmer, so this review comes from that perspective. I have worked my way through the entire sequence of projects included in the kit. The controller board seems to be reasonably good quality, and works reliably. The other components in the kit were not heavy-duty, or of commercial quality, but I don’t think it would reasonable to expect that given the price. I can say that everything did work pretty much as expected. The miscellaneous parts and sensors are adequate for experiments and learning, but you would probably not want to use these parts in anything that required a high degree of durability or reliability. On the plus side, there was a wide variety of devices, giving a broad overall view of what one can do with an Arduino. I did not experience any of the hardware issues that have been described by others. The tutorial and documentation was not up to U.S. standards, but significantly better that what you get from most Chinese companies. It was quite understandable, with only occasional confusing or inconsistent lapses. There were very few outright errors, most of which were minor, and easily detected and corrected if studied carefully. The software examples worked as described, although one project had a defective library file. The library was embedded inside of the duplicate directory, and would not compile…I have to say that figuring this out added to the learning experience for me, but could be frustrating for a beginner. I did send an inquiry about this error by Email to the company’s support, and have not yet (after 1 week) received any reply, so I would not count on significant support…but everyone knows that is pretty much a given with Chinese companies, and it did not come as a surprise. This kit served its purpose in orienting me to the Arduino. Overall, I think this is reasonable value for the price and consistent with the product description, but do not expect significant company support or high-quality components. UPDATE 5/5: I did finally receive an Email from support, and they were responsive in looking into the error.

Amazing for beginners
The Elegoo Mega R3 Kit is a great kit for anyone who wants to learn about electronics and programming. It comes with everything you need to get started, a Mega R3 controller board, a USB cable, a breadboard, a variety of electronic components, there is also a 31 lesson tutorial that you can download to help you learn about to construct different types of circuits.

Quick to get going. Instructional. Lots o’ parts. FUN!
I plan to automate the air intake control on my wood stove, and that means taking temperatures from two thermocouples, analyzing them, and moving a lever. An Arduino can do that very easily. But I know nothing about Arduinos other than they exist. UNTIL NOW.I just finished Lesson 5, Digital Inputs. The PDF instructions explain what is going on and warn you that in this particular section things seem a bit backwards, a good thing to make you aware of so you can learn. Each lesson is brief with excellent pictures and diagrams and just enough explanation. Follow and HAVE FUN.The kit already contains a lot of what I will need to build my project someday: Arduino and power supply; LCD display; motors; motor controllers; buttons; LEDs and other electronic bits; remote controller and sensor. I will need to add thermocouples and the associated interfaces, and the information for those is available everywhere on the ‘net. I may also add Bluetooth and WiFi, using BLYNK to create an app for the phone…someday. The kit comes neatly packed in a nice plastic container with a bunch of compartments. You get your development environment from the ‘net, and the included CD contains all the code you’ll need, which is EASY to upload to the Arduino. There are breadboards to let you lay out your parts, do the lessons, and experiment. You do not need to solder. You just need a PC with a USB port, and you install the development environment there and plug the board in. The Arduino already has a program loaded and running to blink an LED, and you will modify that program by changing a number, then you’ll upload it and see the results. That is how easy this is to get going.Additional parts are easy to get and relatively inexpensive, and when your project is all designed, you can get boards where you can solder everything permanently. I have a long way to go to get to that point. This kit, though, has been a wonderful learning experience so far.About the only things I found with the kit, which are MINOR:- It is tough to discern the colors on the resisters. This isn’t the fault of Elegoo. I suggest getting a stand with a magnifying glass and light. Note that the tape from which the resisters come is labeled, so you can just go by that.- I needed a longer USB cable than what was included. I had one on hand. Again, not Elegoo’s issue, as they supplied a USB cable in the kit. Plug and play.Overall: Lots o’ stuff in a fun kit with great instructions!Note: I do have some basic familiarity with electronic components and programming. Having these basic skills does help, but I think a beginner can follow along. Just take your time to follow the pictures, and take even more time to understand the programming examples (the “sketches”), which are short and fairly clear. And HAVE FUN.

Excellent kit for starters
I have purchased a few of these kits and those who have received them are delighted. I found solid videos on Youtube with various projects, and the items of this kit work great. The only problem I’ve seen, on both kits, is that the labeling that shows pin connector information on the board seems to wear off rather easily. This could leave some without the ability to know which pin is which. My personal solution was to take a picture of the board before ever using it so I could refer to that for pin numbers.

Great Set For Self Learning
This set is great and it helps you get a general idea of the different components, but it doesn’t fully explain in depth so it’s more for self motivated people.

Excellent quality and instructions
I did not know anything about Arduinos before this kit. Now comfortable getting into it after only a few lessons. I like that there is both text pdf and video versions on YouTube. Perfect!

The best Arduino-like kit I’ve found
The kit is first rate all around. Since I’m using this kit in a classroom setting where students purchased their own Elegoo kits, I really appreciate the ziplock storage bags and the compartment box for small items like resisters and transistors otherwise prone to getting lost. Little things like this help make the overall experience of learning Arduino that much more enjoyable.

I like this already!
I just received the “Mega R3” kit, and I’m really looking forward to learning a lot about electronics that I didn’t fully understand before. I have not actually started on the projects yet but I did have one question re: the setup, so I emailed ELEGOO customer service and received a reply about a day later. They told me exactly what I needed to know to get started. It’s great to know that customer service is quick to respond to questions (as I’m sure I’ll have more lol), and this truly looks like a GREAT place to start to learn about electronics and the different components. Seems like it is appropriate for just about any age as well. Can’t wait to get started and to work with other kits as I “advance”.EDIT/UPDATE: I’ve not gone through the first five projects, and the kit is every bit as much fun as I thought it would be. Had to troubleshoot a couple of them, but was able to figure out what was going on, both instances were my own doing. The projects are easy to follow, the whole thing is just great fun. Definitely recommended for beginners in electronics.
