I bought this for a beach vacation based on Booktok reviews. This is the perfect beach read and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s set in Canada. Loved all the fun references to all the things I love about Ontario, like Tim Horton’s and the Muskokas. I’m now reading and loving This Summer Will Be Different. Great author.

I devoured this book. I loved how nostalgic it was. I was transported back to 2001 where my summers were endless and my only care in the world was going back to school. This book brought back so many feelings that you forgot about: first love, first loss of love, and just learning about life. I loved the story of Percy & Sam!
