Instructions I EMILE Bag

EMILE Bag // CROCHET INSTRUCTIONS in German The EMILE Bag is a classic basket bag – perfect as a beach bag or for shopping at the market. The bag has an oval basic shape and is crocheted in rounds. First, the bottom of the bag is worked with single crochet stitches. Increases at regular intervals give the floor its basic oval shape. Then the body is crocheted in a plastic rib pattern with half double crochets. It is worked in spiral rounds so that there is no ‘seam’. Regular increases ensure that the bag becomes wider or trapezoidal towards the top. Finally, leather straps that serve as handles are sewn onto the bag. Crochet stitches and techniques used: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches. / Language: German / Level of difficulty: basic knowledge required. / Dimensions: width: approx. 49-51 cm, height: approx. 28 cm, depth: approx. 14 cm The size of the bag may vary slightly depending on the yarn and dye used.
