****I am updating my original review because the company reached out and made this right with me. They were very responsive and stood behind their product. Just be sure that your kibble is within the size range this dispenser can accommodate, and if it is bigger, they have another model which will work. I HIGHLY recommend!!My original review: I bought this pet feeder and tested it right away to see that it worked. It dispensed food at the time that it was programmed so I thought it was working properly. After several days of using it my dog was very unhappy and started losing weight. I tested it multiple times and found that it worked when I tested it manually, but it did not dispense the right amount of food when it was programmed for the day. Their customer service was very prompt in replying to my concerns, however, they said that the kibble I feed my dog is too big….it was 0.01″ bigger than it should be. They confirmed that it would dispense the food manually but not when programmed. It was past the return window so I am stuck with a very expensive manual pet feeder. Don’t assume it is dispensing the right amount of food!

A functional and reliable automatic dog food feeder! Now we don’t have to worry about coming home late by an hour or two. The dog loves it and always RUN to eat his food as soon as it hears the release of food pebbles. He also checks on the feeder from time to time throughout the day in case the food pebbles magically appear!

This makes life so much easier! My cat is able to be fed consistent amounts at consistent times, and when someone needs to watch her because I’ll be away, feeding is one less thing they have to worry about. It’s also helped her to lose weight. The vet suggested I cut back on her food, and the feeder is so easy to adjust how many portions are given each meal (although the portions are kind of small, so I have it set for 3 portions for meals, which has kept her at a healthy weight).

I bought this just to make it simpler to keep my cat fed when I wasn’t around. Her eating habits are very irregular and some days she eats more than others so the scheduling doesn’t always work.That’s not an issue with this unit though. That’s my cat. It does exactly what it says it’ll do when you set it the way you want and it works.I will say that it is a little louder than I expected. I should have expected that with it having a metal bowl lol. It took a good week for my cat and I to get used to when it would go off and fill her bowl because we would both get startled lol. I’m not taking a star off for that.It’s very easy to maintain and clean and I like that part very much. It’ll hold about a pound and a half of food in it.

I love automation so an automated pet bowl made sense. I have a 45 lbs German shepherd mix so this model seemed like the only one big enough for him. Programming was easy after reading the instructions. The only thing I wish it had was WiFi and integration with their app. I had purchased their other feeder that had it and setting the schedule was SO much easier. I’d absolutely recommend

Short answer: this feeder works great and does NOT clog cat food.Ok. Originally I rated this feeder a one star. I was dumb as in blaming the feeder’s fault on clogging food. For people have similar issues: simply push down the feeder plate a bit so that it is at the same level with the outlet where the food comes out. When it is not fit well, it is taller than the bottom of the outlet causing the clog. So push the plate down and connect it tightly (which is easy and takes minimal effort).The product is very reliable in all other aspects. Great quality, great appearance, and great function. Setting the feeding time is very easy and with the main container filled, it will last for almost months (for my cat). (with the machine being connected to power source). Dispenses food timely and accurately, with preset amount. The meal call option is really cute. Cat likes it. It is a great product with reasonable price (definitely worth it) and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else.——————————–Below is my original review, oh how embarrassing————————————The kibbles got stuck in the outlet – 50% of the time I need to use my hand to unclog. This is very disappointing and defeats the purpose of its existence, which is to automatically feed the cat when I’m traveling out for several days. Unreliable product. I will add a picture showing the clogging issue when I get time.To be fair, the other features (like setting the feeding time and portions) are pretty nice/well made. Also it is made of good material so you don’t need to worry about your cat eating chemicals diffused into its food. The voice call feature is pretty sweet as well. But I have to say that because of the clogging issue, this product is not a functional product despite its price. I was thinking to return it because it’s been only 10 days since it came, however I already put a lot of cat food in and don’t want to go through the trouble. Be cautious when buying!

i was skeptical at first purchasing this item for my cat but to my surprise it has been fantastic. the quality of the materials used to make this feeder are much better then i expected. The feeder is very easy to program with a variety of times being feed a day as well as portion sizes when it is dispensing food. The dispenser’s mechanics are very quiet with really the only noise it makes is from the food hitting the bowl which my cat now knows and always comes running when she hears it, but this dispenser was quite enough for us to keep it in are bedroom for a bit of time with no disturbance to are sleep. After owning this product for i believe over a year now it has never jammed once and is very reliable for feeding. This item worked great for us when feeding a young cat while we went on vacation that had problem with portion control and would eat as much as possible from her bowl. it worked out so well it has become her main food bowl. I would defiantly recommend this product to any pet owner with a smaller dog or cat or someone looking for a great gift for a pet owner

This auto feeder is great. It’s admittedly the only one I’ve owned but it’s met the mark every time. It’s reliable, looks sleek, and my cat loves it. It’s really that simple. It works, it’s reliable, easy to clean, easy to program, easy to load food into. I also love the quick portion button when I know kitty needs extra food.Sometimes I wish I’d splurged for the model that has the app but after doing some research, I didn’t feel like it was worth it for me. Programming truly is not hard, but I don’t think it’s necessarily intuitive. An app would make it easier to quickly switch things up when our plans change for a day. I just didn’t like that you couldn’t use the app when away from home. My other “would be nice” is if the kibble size was marginally bigger. We have to use Hills Science Rx dry food and the size is RIGHT on the marker for the max size. I’m always worried the food is going to get jammed or that the portions are going to be inconsistent. When we used PrettyPlease food (from PrettyLitter) it was perfect. My only other complaint is that the button on the lid seems to be in the midst of breaking. It constantly pops out of place. My kitty knows what’s inside, but I’ve never seen him mess with the feeder so I think it’s just a faulty piece.All that aside, I still love this feeder and have zero regrets buying it. I’ve recommended it to quite a few family members. It’s such a nice addition to our home and routine.

It dispenses the right amount of food at the right time – helps make sure our kitty is getting the right amount of food everyday! It’s relatively quiet (I did not set a voice recording), but our cat runs to the food dish when he hears the kibble falling into the dish. Good design, it looks good, relatively easy to program and use, and is working great so far. The only thing is that I wish it had more like 6-8 meals, instead of just the 4. But we feed him wet food twice a day (7 am and 5 pm) so it does a pretty good job of keeping him fed in between (we do 2 portions each at 10 am, 2 pm, and 8 pm, then 3 portions at 11 pm, for just under 1/2 cup of kibble per day). You can also manually feed pretty easily if you want with a couple buttons (you need to unlock the screen first, which is nice, since I don’t worry about our cat messing up the programming). Has batteries and a plug in so I don’t need to worry about the power going out. Holds quite a bit of food so feel like it will last a while. So far very happy with it!!
