At first the reviews had me a bit scared i was actually trying to cancel the order but it was too late 😂 but I figured let me go ahead & give it a try! I have the iPhone 15 & have a couple of documents i had to send in! I figured out how to do it right away! You don’t have to download an app! While your flash drive is plugged up just go to files on your iPhone, select browse at the bottom & on the screen you’ll see locations. Under locations you’ll more than likely see “ NONAME “ that’s your flash drive. Move stuff to your files folder if you haven’t already & copy it to the “ NONAME “ folder aka the flash drive lol. Everyone is saying it moved slow but it literally transferred my stuff in seconds. I had no issues! & yes you’re welcome you’re welcome ❤️ this is for the iPhone users!

I didn’t want to keep upgrading iCloud storage on my iPhone, so I tried looking into a cheaper solution for saving all my photos & videos. I found out that Amazon Photos (comes free with Amazon Prime) offers unlimited full resolution photos backups and 5GB of video backups. That takes care of my photos but I have more than 5GB of videos so I needed something to store my videos. I got the 1TB Sandisk and it works!!!! I plug it into my iPhone 15 Pro and go into my photos > videos > “save to file” and select the sandisk as the save location. I copy about 50 videos at a time to the Sandisk. Don’t bother with the iXpand app, it didn’t work for me.But yea, I’m really pleased that I’m able to save my videos to the 1TB sandisk easily by plugging into my iPhone, and my photos continue to back up to amazon photos. I hope this helps someone with the same issues!

Needed a large enough USB storage device that would work both as an OTG device for backing up phone data off multiple devices, but also on standard PC’s if necessary. This was the perfect choice. On one end is USB-C male connector, which actually has a longer metal plug. This make it easier to fit the USB-C port on the phone without taking off the phone case. The other end is a standard USB-A male connector that is also longer and can be inserted into recessed ports on a PC or laptop. The physical drive itself is tiny. And the casing is plastic (not metal). So it’s extremely lightweight, and narrow enough so that it can actually fit inside the cap of fountain-pen.The only complain I have is the SanDisk software on Android. It kept failing to recognize the exFAT format that was default on the drive. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the drive first had to be formatted by Android (via Android OS’s Storage setting), and not via Windows OS.Once the blank drive was formatted via native Android’s Storage option for exFAT, it worked on Android across multiple phones, and also in Windows.Otherwise this software issue, this device was perfect for my needs.

One of the best USB-A + USB-C drives I’ve seen or used. Good value for the money at a reasonable price point. Very good capacity. Flip design allows you to protect the unused side without worrying about removing and replacing a plastic cover, making this unit very easy to use. I can’t believe I just (July 2024) bought my first color laser (all-in-1) printer and the stupid thing has a USB-A female!!! This SanDisk drive makes it easy to save scans from that printer and save to my computers (both of which are 100% USB-C), when I don’t feel like using OTA.

This thumb drive works as should as a USB -C and USB-A. Just be aware that it is not of the highest read/write speeds, but works well. It is exFAT format, so you will need to reformat it to FAT32 if you want to use it to play music in your car.

I have computers that have only old Type-A USB ports and others with USB-C ports. I also like the color selection to distinguish which drive belongs to which computer. And I like the design that uses a swiveling port cover unlike the older style which had a button that slid the proper connector into view. A writeable surface would be a good improvement.

The SanDisk 1TB Ultra Dual Drive Go USB Type-C Flash Drive is a fantastic choice for anyone needing versatile and high-capacity storage. The dual connectors (USB Type-C and USB Type-A) make it incredibly convenient for transferring files between different devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and desktops. The 1TB storage capacity is more than sufficient for all my files, photos, and videos. The drive is compact and portable, and the performance is solid with fast transfer speeds. The only minor drawback is that it can be a bit tricky to switch between the connectors, but overall, it’s a minor issue compared to the drive’s benefits.

Excellent quality and great price. Connects to phones and laptops easily .and is fast. Black color is a bit harder to find but works . Easy to remove from phones or laptops. Beware – it’s tiny and easily lost! Put a lanyard on it.
