I always use Sandisk drives, and I never have problems. I like this particular design because I can use the USB or USB-C insert making it easy to pair it with a laptop, phone, computer, tablet, and etc. The drive is also easy to install, it pops up on your computer right away and is easy to read. There is a good amount of storage space – 128 which fits my needs. It is good quality and durable for normal use. I got this on sale, so it was a pretty good deal for the amount of storage.

This is a VERY nifty gadget, and it works very well, with huge storage (256G)…BUT, you may encounter a problem, as I did, if your iDevice/Driod is encased in some form of protective “armor” (in my case, an OtterBox Defender). This thumb drive is almost 3/4 of an inch wide, which means you have to have a considerable amount of open space around your iDevice’s/Droid’s access port, in order for the thumb drive to seat properly. My OtterBox case is very restrictive around the access port (no doubt for protection) and would not allow the thumb drive to seat properly. Therefore, the thumb drive did not work. I thought about buying an adapter, but, decided instead, to attempt a modification on my OtterBox. It took considerable patience, but I was finally successful in enlarging the OtterBox opening around my iPad’s access port. The thumb drive now seats properly, and, of course, works! Five stars to both devices… My OtterBox and the thumb drive!

I’ve used San Disk removeable media in one form or another for over 20 years! For photography they are an absolute must! For simple phone picture and or saving pictures from your computer? Again, a must! I’ve bought some of the cheaper brands and somewhere you always seem to sacrifice speed, quality and or lifespan. I’m fortunate enough that I’ve been able to save photos, documents, videos of parents school plays, etc. from cheap thumbdrives. But that came with a lot of work and I mean A LOT! In over 20 years I’ve never had a San Disk card or thumdrive ever fail. I even have an original 512mb, yes megabyte (LOL) thumbdrive that still works to this day. San Disk also makes great cards for digital video and cameras with very fast reaction speed that makes a home users video or photography look close to professional. Thumbdrives especially I’ve bought some discounted brands and they may work for a a year or two or even more but they ALL seem to die when you least expect it for no reason. For secure and long-term storage I ALWAYS rely on San Disk, it’s not even a question. They are in my opinion the best for long term and stable storage of your video media. And they’re not really that much more expensive for the reliability.

This is a nice USB drive. There’s not much to say about something like this though. It does what its supposed to do and holds data. I like that is has both USB-C and USB-A outputs. That makes it so you can connect it to pretty much any laptop you need to no matter what style of USB ports it has predominantly. Time will tell if it’s reliable and doesn’t fail or have other issues, but so far so good. It’s nice and small, so make sure you don’t misplace/lose it. 5 stars all around…

I initially bought two of these USB-C/USB-A dual thumb drives to use as backups for my data. I like them because they are compact, reliable, fast, and very convenient. I like that it’s easy to carry around in my purse since it’s so small. Also, my laptop has a USB-C port and two USB-A ports, so I really like the flexibility that I can use this thumb drive in any of those.Everything was going along fine using these for my regular data backups until….I put one of these thumb drives in my pocket and forgot about it, and sent it through the clothes washer and also put it into the dryer and “dried” it. I heard the clacking around in the dryer and…there it was. And when I took it out of the dryer, it was HOT. At that point, I decided to immediately buy an identical replacement for that one, and not take a chance on continuing to use it. I didn’t want to risk that the washed one would fail on me sooner or later, have shorter lifespan, or loose any data. After receiving the third one (the replacement) and doing my regular backup onto it, I then decided to try to the one that I inadvertently washed and dried and….it works perfectly with no loss of data. At least so far.So for now, I have THREE of these and am keeping the washed one as an additional backup thumb drive.I really like the convenience of these thumb drives, the dual USB-C/USB-A ends, the large amount of data that they hold, and the reliability. I don’t recommend that you send them through the washer and dryer like I did, but if you do so, well, now you know that it will probably continue to work!I recommend this thumb drive and am very happy with it!I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be.
