Needed something to replace my failing laptop HDD. Received SSD on schedule date. Attached SSD and cloned original HDD, removed HDD and made few adjustments in BIOS and it works fantastic. What a difference in boot time to Windows login screen, crazy fast. Installation fast and easy. Would recommend.

I have an old Mac Pro and needed to clone my aging hard drive. I used the CCC cloning program (older version) and this SSD drive cloned perfectly, even though it was a larger capacity than my original drive. So far it is functioning perfectly, and has turned my old eight core Mac into a fast beast, including startup times right at 30 seconds.

Our old PS4 started slowing down and taking forever to load and got to the point of where it would only get to the playstation screen but loading games locked it up. Bought this SSD and installed it within minutes and my playstation runs better now than it did before. Loading is much faster and operation seems so much smoother overall. No issues or errors whatsoever so i highly recommend this SSD.

I have used this SSD a few times on different builds. Easy to clone with Macrium Reflect, pretty good speed and great price. Way cheaper then Samsung of same capacity. Fast delivery with prime. None have failed on me yet. Long term reliability is yet unknown.

I picked this up to install in my NAS at first; but decided to use another drive and instead use this for my gaming PC. 4TB is plenty of space for games and there aren’t many writes. Since this is a QLC drive; it isn’t good for write heavy situations. however it has like 500GB of SLC it seems because it writes pretty fast for a long time.Overall I am really happy with it for gaming.

I bought this to use as a secondary drive for some more space as the NVMe drive on my gaming laptop runs Windows and is only 258gb. So I can’t tell you how well it boots or runs windows. I won’t post any CrystalDiskMark scores because what we really want is real world usage and nobody really gets those scores. Easy to install other than a few broken fingernails getting the back of the laptop off. Cmos disk error on reboot because I disconnected the battery during install but Windows fixed on reboot. Used the disk manager to initialize and allocate to drive D. I’m posting some screenshots. C is my Windows Hynix NMMe drive. D is the Teamgroup AX 512gb SSD drive and E is my microSD card. Copying 160gb from my SD card to the Teamgroup drive took about 40 minutes. Not bad considering it was coming from a flash that doesn’t read so fast. The Desktop (C) to Data were a windows 10 and 11 ISO files. The D to New folder is an example copying a file from D to D, in which it has to read and write at the same time. So there is some examples of real-world use. Speeds will vary depending on if you’re copying from another drive, flash drive or within the drive as you can see. Fastest speed I saw was 450 mbps. Overall, I’m more than happy with it. Considering I was getting write times in the 20s and 30s on my SD card this is super-fast. Would I have gotten faster speeds if I had bought a WD, Crucial or Samsung? Maybe. But not enough to justify the extra money. As far as longevity is concerned, let’s just say that I’ve never had a drive fail on me since I began using computers in the 90s. So take this for whatever it’s worth. Good deal at $28.

I’ve recently built my own open media vault home server for cloudlike use (with the help of tailscale) after getting sick of onedrive. The problem is the mini pc I’m using only has an internal 2242 m.2 sata ssd and one 2.5″ sata bay. I wanted more than 2tb so that rules out mechanical drives. This was by far the cheapest 4tb ssd I could find that fit the bill from a brand I have good experience with.Pic is the tiny headless server. I designed a 3d printed an open vent lid to attach a pc case fan to keep everything nice and cool.Installation was easy and after more than a month running 24/7 in the server this drive is solid. Very happy with the amount of storage I received for the money I paid. Reliability longer term will have to be seen but so far so good and I’m running nightly mirroring to another remote pc anyway just in case. Always backup anything important!

I bought this 2tb SATA III internal SSD for $72. Amazing value. I was a little worried that the performance would be poor but I am getting sustained writes just below 500MB/s and sustained reads just over 500MB/s. Very, very large writes eventually slow down but I was able to get decent speeds even when writing 500gb consisting of several hundred thousand of files for a big backup task – took about 30 minutes or an average of half the smaller sustained write speed which isn’t spectacular but perfectly fine. And completely expected. Reads never slow down, it’s only writes that eventually get slower. In normal operation where you are writing only small amounts to the drive at any one time even if you’re reading very large amounts, you will never see the speeds drop below about 500MB/s.This is a great archive, backup, and general storage drive. It can’t compete with really fast modern SSDs with faster interfaces but the performance is right in line with other inexpensive SSDs using a SATA III interface. Most of those other inexpensive SSDs are more expensive than this one, sometimes a lot more expensive. I have it in a USB 3 gen1 enclosure and I can boot my computer with it just fine. It’s certainly not the best boot drive but you’d pay quite a bit more for a better boot drive let alone a “best” one.Just got it today so I can’t speak about longevity. The TBW specified by the manufacturer for the 2tb version which I got is pretty good. I don’t plan to ever fill it up more than just a bit past halfway and it’s for incremental backups so after today the writes will be pretty small and therefore I expect it will last me for as long as I care to keep it in service.

This beast is very nice with the Intel i9 14900K. I purchased two of the 4TB. They work flawlessly and are absolute worth the money. Super-fast, error free, steady access to my data. It boots up my system in seconds. I am just an average Joe but I can tell that you cannot go wrong with this SSD. It has awesome performance; strong decent case and they look nice as well. I build my machine with the Intel i9 14900K and the ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Wi-Fi 7. These toys are very joyful to have and beautiful to play with.
