I so enjoyed this little treasure. Beautifully crafted from front cover to back. I have prepared a place next to my tea pot for its display it. Reading it brought me peace, joy and a smile to my face. Once again, reminded that the simplest things in life are often over looked, however they hold great value. In our busy world this type of thing is what the Dr ordered. For those wanting a deeper read try the Stoics. That will give you food for thought. Wisdom literature of the Bible is another I would recommend.Grateful for this little treasure.

This book is recommended to read a story a week for the entire year. I thought I’d read it in one day. So far, the stories are so simple, yet so thought provoking that I’m reading them one at a time… over and over again. I never right in books, but I’m highlighting and writing notes about the simplest life concepts that we are not being mindful of. I want to buy this book for several people in my life because I think it would make them pause, slow down, respond rather than react, and be present in the moment. Good stuff here.

Greatly appreciate the messages and the self awareness. How to react to situations. How to accept the challenges of life and to not be so hard on one’s own self.
