No problems so far price point is very low. Can’t vouch for the durability of the USB cable though as this is pretty much permanently plugged into a little headless mini PC as an additional network management port so the system can be accessed directly via the internal switch if the the virtual router on the main network ports goes down. as for Linux support I can confirm this is working on a Proxmox hypervisor

I have tried many different USB->Ethernet adapters, and this is the only one that I find that can forward PXE boot, Window PE, and HP BIOS update traffic on our HP Elitebook and ZBook series laptops. In the words of the boss of my Org: “It just works.”

For anyone looking up this item for working from home, pull the trigger. But please do one thing.I was having crazy wifi issues on my work laptop preventing me from being efficient at all. All other devices in my home were fine. IT wouldn’t help me so I wanted to find a solution myself. I plugged this guy in and I did have issues right away, and can’t download a driver because of an admin password on my work laptop I don’t have. What I did was right clicked on the little internet icon next to the clock in windows and pressed troubleshoot problems. After that it’s working great and I can finally work again.

It appeared my on board LAN port was having a hardware problem as my speeds were really slow and replacing drivers did not help. Ordered this as a potential fix and during speed tests I was getting significantly faster speeds with the same cables, ports and drives over the network.

This product works perfectly. It allowed me to achieve hardline access to my home internet seeing the newer laptops only have wifi capabilities. Great purchase.

I usually do not write reviews, but I had to tell you about this product. I was averaging about 45 to 75 Mbps internet download speed. I even would lose my internet connection several times a day. A technician came to my home and recommended this to bump up my speed. I have a computer that does not have an Ethernet port so this adapter was my problem solver. It’s so easy to install. You just stick one end of the adapter into a USB slot, and the other you need to plug an Ethernet cord into it. Of course, the other end of the Ethernet cable goes into the back of my router. I have a router and a modem, but I was told to put the ethernt cable in an empty slot in the back of my router. I found an extra Ethernet cable. He advised me not to use the ones that were already connecting my router to my modem.I did several speed tests. I am now getting over 400 Mbps download every time. I am so happy I go this and you can’t beat the price.I had to choose a star rating for Tech support, but I didn’t have to call them.

Plug it into your USB port and BOOM, you’ve got ethernet. My internet has been so much faster and more reliable ever since! Works great on both desktop and laptop. I strongly recommend if your wifi has proven insufficient, because wired is the way to go!

I just plugged the TPlink UE300c into my macbook and it worked out of the box in my M2 MBP! No drivers or downloads needed. Im running Mac OS Ventura 13.5 and have had zero problems. I’ve run the UE300c off my 5G AT&T Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro, TPlink AV1000 Powerline, and Linksys AX Wifi 6 router and get solid 1 Gbps connections. I have about 30ms reduced ping as well using this adapter, so my web browsing is much more responsive. I just moved to a 3 story apartment complex, despite running a 5GHZ AX only network, my wireless performance is horrible. I have been using an Anker 7 in 1 USB hub with 1G etherne to without issues and the performance seems identical to both, but the TP link is so much smaller, smaller and runs way cooler. For the sale price of $10, just grab it. Its worth having and just comes in handy when on the go or fighting your apartment neighbor’s wifi traffic.
