Exactly what I ordered.
I’m happy with it, it was the only book in the series I didn’t have yet, so got it to complete my little girl’s collection. It was hard cover, so it will stand up to most abuse. Not that my little girl is rough with her belongings, I’m just saying it arrived in great condition, so even if the post office were to be rough with the packaging the book would probably withstand it, allowing you to receive it in perfect condition. There’s nothing really bad about this purchase. I didn’t read the book or anything and it’s not my place to criticize how good or bad the story inside is, as that doesn’t matter here anyway. The people only want to know that the book arrived in the condition they expect it for being a brand new book, of which I can honestly say…. It did. 🙂

Book 6, OK…
My 9 year old said “I think Jeff Kinney is just looking for things to say now.” However, this same child has read through this book at least twice now. He owns every possible book in the series and both movies. He tends to carry all his books around with him, it’s rather comical. I think he really enjoyed the book. What I perceive to be the problem is, the hype. This book was just so hyped up, and anticipated, that anything less than perfection is going to be a disappointment. It’s a book that kids will read and I got it for under $10 with free shipping. That works for our family. And, if my son reads it more than once, that’s an added bonus. This certainly isn’t The Hobbit, or Gone With the Wind… but it’s quirky, kept my son engaged, and was cheap for a hardcover. My son showed me some of the drawings and made me read some of the parts in here, so I’ll have to add parts of the book were even worth sharing. Doesn’t that make for a good book? When you feel something is so funny or even sad that you have to share it with someone?

Son Inhaled This Book like all the ones Before It!
As with all the Diary of a Wimpy Kids, my son inhales them! Thats saying a lot for my 12 year old, he really doesn’t read much. But I can count on him reading these, its the only series I know I can pre-order and he’ll whip through the day it arrives, this was no exception. In Cabin Fever, Greg’s family is on vacation and somethings going down, they’re looking for him. He’s nervois he’s going to get in trouble! Will they find him or will it all blow over…? Xavier loved this book and you or your kid will too! Always a great series, especially for those that don’t like to read! I love how it combines a book with a comic strip, even I enjoy reading these when he’s done 🙂

LOL
At the end of the book when the newspaper mentioned that a stranger shoveled the back of the church it reminded me of the end of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Roddick Rules when Roddick told all the kids Greg’s age about the embarrassing incident that happened. And when the story got wrong that didn’t stop Greg from his chance from being popular. That just proves that Greg does anything he can to get noticed. Like at the end of the book when he wrote about it in The Neighborhood Tattler.

The Cabin Fever- a Cole’s Class Kid’s Review
Wow! This book was the best book ever! It starts when they have to be good or else they won’t get presents for Christmas, and then they go to a cabin and there is a problem. If you want to know, read the book, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Cabin Fever.” The pictures are the best part. The characters are Rodrick, the older mean brother who tries to annoy Greg. Greg is the main main character. Rowley is Greg’s best friend who stays by his side no matter what. I would rate this book as a five out of five because everything was good except for it being too short. Besides that, it had a good title, a tiny mystery, a good base line, surprising actions, and good characters. So read “The Cabin Fever” for a good book.by Brian

Good series to read!
My son and I are big Wimpy Kid fans. He is 7 and got his first 4 “wimpy kid” book through a friend. I now have bought 4 other “wimpy kids”, (hardcover), my son had one paperback( that was a no,no). Any who These books have been our bed time reading for the past 6 months. I enjoy reading it to him, sometimes finishing a book in 3 days. I has also helped him to be an excelerated reader because of the pictures, plot(typical silly boy stuff), he enjoys reading them during his free reading time. I think he has reread some, he also got a hold to my phone to order another wimpy kid book.

Fabulous!
Ordered this book by pre-order as my son loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. We read the books together and I get upset with him if he reads ahead as I enjoy the booksjust as much as he does. We laugh at the similarities in the book that happen with us in real life as well. Jeff Kinney really excels at bringingreal life situations into his books so kids canrelate and laugh at their trials in life dealing withschool, teachers, friends, parents, siblings, family members and even neighbors. The book arrived on time as promised and in New condition. I will forever continue to order products through Amazon.com as I’ve never been disappointed in what I ordered and received.I do most my shopping online now and themajority of that is through Amazon because of the ease of my shopping experience as well as the qualityof vendors and products.

An Easy and fun Read
This book is a fun easy read. Though they don’t really have a point or a plot. And this is not something I would call a novel. I read one in about an hour and a half. So this series is something I would normally read when I’m feeling too lazy to read a book that has a plot that I need to use my mind to undersatand. Most amazing books start of describing things but this series gets into the action immediately and uses words that most writers will forbid like good and bad. Also there is no speech just little speech bubbles. Though it is a fine easy read and the writer did well getting in the shoes of a middle school student. But it is not at all DEEP and ” Greg ” finds it hard to be empathtic to people.

I have browsed some of the pages and it seems to be interesting and funny. She has no problems in reading and rereading …
My daughter for some reason loves to read the entire series in this book. I have browsed some of the pages and it seems to be interesting and funny. She has no problems in reading and rereading the books. The lexicon (vocabulary/content) seems to be limited, which is a disappointment, since I would like for her to gain from the books that she has read, so that she can be a more creative writer and I have pointed this out to her, but she seems to be hooked.

The Annoying Brothers on Christmas
This book is about this boy name Greg Heffley and how he is trying to escape with stuff like he put posters on the wall at his school and when it started to rain the green dye bleeded out and got caught but started to run and now the police was involved. The other thing about thisbook was that he had to deal with his brothers and his parents near and on Christmas. Oh he also wants to go to juvenile or jail but not exactly.A·K·A· He lost electricity but not actually because his little brother messed with the fuse box.I really LOVEDDDDDDDDDD this book

A book is a book but shopping made easier!
Don’t know much about this book but I bought it for my brother’s grandson. It is a hard-cover and seems to be well made.It is exactly what he said to get and doing most of my Christmas on Amazon Prime has made my life a whole lot easier. You can make a decision as to whether or not to buy a product just by reading the reviews. My main buying place was e-Bay and for certain items, it still will be, but Amazon Prime is the easiest shopping I have ever done!

great book!!
my 2 boys and i have read the entire diary series. when we heard about a new book coming out we could hardly wait to get it. we started to read this book about a day or so after it came to our door and it was perfect timing. christmas was just around the corner and this book was all about the christmas season. the book was funny, funny, and more funny. the kids loved it and so did it. it makes reference to the Elf on the Shelf and other funny little things about Santa. once again, another diary book hits a home run in this house.

Really motivates reluctant readers
Buying this book was like a Christmas gift to myself because it makes my job as a reading tutor so much easier. All my students love the sly humor and willingly read much longer than any other book I’ve found. Unlike some other kid-friendly books it has a minimum of misspelled words, like “gonna” for “going to”, so reading it is time well spent. Plus it’s funny for adults too; I end up reading the Wimpy Kid books over and over because so many of my students love them, but I laugh every time.

“Let children read the books they love! ” A classic
“Let children read the books they love!” A classic. A truly funny book! I have read some of the volumes with my son and laughed out loud! “Let children read the books they love!” By the way after reading Kinney almost exclusively for over a year, our son has now outgrown these books (though he will read every new one) and he now loves all kinds of books — including classics. I now agree with Neil Gaiman when he says: “Let children read the books they love!”

Wimpy Kid – fun read
My son has been reading this series of books for years now. This is the latest installment and he hadnt gotten it yet. I got it for Christmas and he loved it. I decided I would pick it up and read it too. It is a really fun read. I think preteen boys would get a kick out of the humor in the book and relate to some of the probelms Greg has.

great read
This book was the first thing requested on my nephews Christmas list. He has the entire series. It is very true to every day life as a young teen, trying to find out what’s their place in the world. It lets them know they are not alone.I find him reading instead of playing video games. That is a great feeling. Get this series you will be thankful you did. As will the young person you love. Amazon makes shopping easy, extremely reliable, fast, and saves time for the fun times in life. My favorite way to shop.

My son was very happy!
I recently ordered this book from Amazon for my son’s 8yrs birthday party and he was so happy! He hasn’t read it yet but he loves the books from this series so he was very excited to get it as a gift. He is in second grade and thanks to this collection he started reading chapter books. The shipping was fast. In two days my order was received! I was also very pleased with the price being that Diary of a Wimpy Kid books in most stores are at an average of $15 dollars and I got it through Amazon.com for about $9!!

Great Book, Great Series!!!!!!!!
I pre-ordered this book for my 8 year old son for Christmas. For weeks, this book was the only thing he wanted. He even tried to talk relatives into buying it for him. 🙂 But, We all held him off until Christmas and his smile was HUGE when he opened it! Best part of Christmas Morning. He read it in about 2 days. (He likes to look at the pictures first and then he reads.) He still takes it everywhere we go….just in case. This series if the only series so far that he will read over and over again. He Loves these books. Thanks!

Great Series
My son absolutely loves this series!!! Although he was only 6 years old going on 7 when he read the first book, he was hooked. I would say that the book was a little beyond his understanding, but when he took it to school and took the AR Test on it, we were surprised when he received either perfect scores or aced them. The reading level for these books are between a 4th & 5th grade level and my son is only in 2nd grade. So we continued to buy them, and now he has the complete series. Well worth the money and actually best to get it on Amazon rather than buying from Walmart.

Not her fave, but still really good
I got this for my 11 year old as soon as it came out with Amazon’s pre-order program, which I LOVE. She thought it was really good, but it wasn’t her favorite. She also thinks, for what it’s worth, that he needs to stop writing this series because it’s getting “purposeless.” ha After she read it, she passed it around to several of her classmates, all of whom were chomping at the bit to read this latest book and all of whom enjoyed it.

Great read. Poor condition of book.
Great read. My nine year old really enjoyed reading this book. However the condition of this book is terrible. The edges are very worn and the whole book looks like it was dipped in water. All pages are wavy. The sellers standard of “good” is much lower than mine. Would recommend the book but not this seller.

Delivered as Promised
I ordered this book for my son. I was hesitant because I had not purchased from this seller previously. We were able to buy here (price plus s/h) for less than at the local bookstore. The book arrived within the timeframe that was indicated with only a small (less than half inch) bend on the edge of the back cover (sort of like what you get if you bump a book’s edge when putting it on a shelf). This was probably due to storage as the seller indicated. Overall, great condition. My son was very excited when the book arrived and pleased with the purchase. For me, that makes it an excellent experience!

Another Good One
My 8 year old son was done with this book in 2 days. Once he picked it up, he wouldn’t put it down. Literally, we go to the store and it was in his hands during the car ride to the store and back including while walking around. The first day he got it I went to check on him in the middle of the night and he was under the covers with a flashlight reading hours after I’d put him to bed. I think the content is age appropriate and love the fact that his favorite hobby is to read vice playing games on my phone. Thank you Jeff Kinney for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series.

Great laughs along with an epic story.
Where do I start with this one? This book is incredibly hilarious and has a awesome story. Don’t want to spoil anything but the book goes along with Greg being accused for something (he thinks) and he thinks that he could get arrested for it but that’s not the funny part. There are things that have nothing to do with the story that will make you laugh the most. If you read the last book The Ugly Truth then you could see that the plot does not take a big roll in the overall book and a lot are stuff are random and out of the ordinary. But with this book they keep the random things within the plot to make a great story combination.

still funny …
my kids and I have enjoyed the Wimpy Kid series. This one is no different. This story, being set in the winter, brought back some great memories of some of my youth in the midWest. While reading aloud, I often had to stop and compose myself as I was laughing too hard to continue. Greg is a silly kid with some pretty typical experiences of growing up (at least they seem typical to me). While he’s not necessarily the best role model for our kids, his ideas, problems, and interactions with friends and family provide some humor and good discussion in our family.
