I’m a realtor in northern CA and the resale requirements for smoke detectors are such that I’m always needing to install 1-2 on every sale. Nothing is worse than having an appraiser call and tell you they can’t complete the appraisal because of a missing smoke alarm and needing to schedule an additional inspection at an additional cost. I was buying them 1-2 at a time at the local Bigbox depot but at $20/ea, it was getting expensive. Now every few months I buy a box of these and keep them in my car and when the listing is signed, I go around and install them.

I installed 2 smoke alarms, one in hall and one in kitchen. The one in the kitchen is maybe 10 feet from the stove. It goes off continuously when the smoke gets a little high on the stove eye. I have to keep my foot stool handy. Haha 🙂 The smoke alarm works great.

there’s no one to contact for warranty of 10 years! bought in 2021. was working well. then alarm keeps going off. replaced battery. would reset for a bit then starts sounding again. there’s no 10 year warranty, as far as I’m concerned. can’t find a way to contact seller.the other 2 are working perfect.
